transcribing is converting audio data, that are composed of words and paragraphs to a readable transcript data or files.

It is not new that businesses and service providers are going online. One of this businesses are transcribe service provider/ company.

Scribie

Scribie is a transcription company that offer service where your audio files or videos needed to be transcribe. Scribie also need freelancers, or anyone who want to earn money online, by transcribing audio files of their clients.

The job may be simple and has a varying difficulties, you have to listen to an audio provided by scribie and get paid for 5$ to 25$ per hour rate of audio you transcribed. listen and write it down as far as you understand

Varying difficulties

Not all audio that needs to be transcribe are good quality, there are numerous audio files that are in low quality and poorly recorded. Part of difficulties here listening different accents which, transcriber is not really get used to hear.

5$ to 25$ per hour is not bad at all, No one immediately become better doing his/her job in the first day of work, we always start from having hard time adjusting the work we want to earned for. We will become better if we do it regularly and soon become best if its really what we really wanted to do and love doing it.

Application

If you want to try transcribing job, signing up in scribie may need to have the following:

1. verified paypal account
   They require you to have a verified Paypal account. A verified paypal account is, your paypal account is linked to your bank account or your credit card account. This is to ensure that you are able to receive payments from Scribie. 

2. When verified, you will be filling up basic registration form. this inlclude verifying your email address. 

3. Take the Online test, listen audio and transcribe it. when pass, you are certified as transcriber.

4. You can start transcribing audio files and earn money.

5. If you fail the Test, Scribie will give you more opportunity 10 times to take the test.

The rate and the job is clearly an advantages, and no country restrictions as long as you can do the job, and also you have the following requirements:

  • Understand English well
  • Ability to Interpret Conversation
  • Ability to apply context and identify mistakes
  • Laptop/computer with internet connection
  • Headset/headphone

This is also an opportunity to hone your skills, in english and interpreting conversation.
